Mission & Vision

Our Mission and Vision

Mission Statement: To engage in works of charity that help uplift the quality of life of our less fortunate brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. To provide educational assistance to indigent and deserving high school students in the Philippines’ rural areas, extending help to the needy through feeding programs and meal baskets or packages, and partnering with other Catholic organizations to engage in spiritual retreats and the propagation of the devotion to Blessed Mother Mary, aimed to uplift and renew faith, which is the foundation of hope for every human being to better every family’s relationship and way of living.

Vision Statement: To grow commitment to ministry among the faithful Catholics: to work together to provide access and means to help those in need by giving of their time, talent, and/or treasure. We aim to awaken the spirit of faithful stewardship that is made directly accessible to those in need.

Our story

Founded for one child, committed to whole communities

The Children of Mama Mary Foundation (CMMF) was founded in 2024 in response to the needs of a single child in a small community: Carmen, Pangasinan, Philippines. What began as a humble plea for assistance became a powerful realization: helping just one child was not enough. We understood that meaningful, lasting change requires more than a one-time act of kindness, it calls for a sustained commitment to uplift entire communities.

Today, by the grace of God, CMMF continues its mission by supporting high school students who are dedicated to working hard and achieving their dreams. Beyond education, the foundation actively leads and participates in community outreach and development initiatives across several towns in the Philippines.

Through faith, compassion, and service, we strive to bring hope, opportunity, and lasting impact to the children and families we serve.

The Children of Mama Mary Foundation is a registered Non-Profit 501(c)(3) corporation.

Our faith

Charity at the heart of everything we do

"Charity is at the heart of the Church's social doctrine." (Caritas in Veritate, 2)

The Children of Mama Mary Foundation is founded on the teaching of the Catholic Church, by a group of individuals and families devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary. We express charity in three ways: corporal works of mercy, spiritual works of mercy, and implementing our programs faithful to the tenets of Catholic social teaching in our society.

This is expressed in our corporal works of mercy, feeding the hungry, and our spiritual works of mercy, providing help for the education of indigent but deserving students and other community outreach and community projects.

Our acts

Helping hands are better than praying lips

"Helping hands are better than praying lips." St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta

We can keep praying for people in need, for people who are neglected, lonely and cold, but if our hands are clasped behind our back as we eat, live and laugh comfortably while people suffer, how are we being Christ for others?

The help the Foundation extends is to "teach every child to fish," and it is not without condition. Our objective is to teach every child to grow a strong backbone and to be accountable: we teach them integrity and honesty. Their parents sign the acceptance of scholarship with them. The monthly allowance is released through our designated local advisor, and scholars must perform well and submit their grades to continue as a scholar in good standing.
